I’ve been looking into the D300, and I just wanted to know if anyone owned one, and if it’s a good camera or not.

Are you talking about the custom white balance preset? Then look on page 127 and 129 in your camera manual. Page 264 discusses other custom pre-sets. As you can see, you can reset the custom settings using the menu on the camera

i think light painting is sooooo pretty :]
and im thinking about hte Nikon D300 camera but i wanna make sure you can light paint with it
